Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons, Beach and Pool
Great Pond
On Route 27 just south of Belgrade Lakes Village, The Center offers a wide range of activities for all ages. The facility offers a large gym, a swimming pool, a beach area, the public library, and a beautiful porch for just sitting back and relaxing. During the summer, the Center offers a weekly children's day camp, (pre registration required).
Rome Town Beach, Great Pond
Small sandy beach area located on the top of Great Pond. Take Route 225 to Frederick Lane. Go all the way to the end.
Belgrade Town Beach, Long Pond
Located on Lakeshore Drive, Belgrade. Take Route 27 to West Road (at intersection where Sunset Grille is located). Make immediate right onto Lakeshore Drive. Go 2 tenths of a mile. Beach is located just as road begins to make a sharp left.
Oakland Town Beach & Boat Landing, Messalonskee
Located next to the boat landing at the north end of Messalonskee Lake. Follow signs to the public boat launch on Old Belgrade Road.
Pleasant Point Beach & Park, McGrath Pond
Located on Mcgrath Pond Road, west side of McGrath Pond.
Peninsula Park, Long Pond
Located at the dam on Route 27 in Belgrade Lakes Village. This is a great location for a picnic or just enjoying the views across the north bay of Long Pond. Bathroom facilities present.
